Not my typical post title… is it? Haha. As I sat here thinking of what I wanted to title this, that’s really the only thing that came to mind… and I think his family will appreciate it. He’s the most darling, smilely, energetic, enthusiastic, and sharing 5-year-old. Plus, his name rocks. He’s got bright eyes and red hair and freckle from the Gods. He brought legos, told me about how he befriended the new kid before anyone else, and even helped me take some photos at the session.

He loved every part of our session (except for maybe the elbow-incident) and loved every person there even more. Talk about a kid with a giant heart. He stole the show and I’ll show you how.

In all seriousness, though, Brandy and Greg are just fabulous. Brandy and I had communicated via email (my main form of communication since I teach and shoot and am always working weird hours), but then she called me one evening to verify things were received and I could just hear the excitement in her voice. I knew we were both excited already, we have the same love of exclamation points! But to talk to her on the phone before our session was just the icing on the cake.

Plus, they brought along Greg’s parents and you all KNOW I live sessions that include the grandparents. I’m thinking of making it a thing!! Brandy coordinated everyone’s attire PERFECTLY with a scarf I’m still drooling over as I post these images.

Huge shout out (again – it’s the theme of these fall posts) to Mother Nature for providing us with leaves and color in MID-NOVEMBER and giving us some of the most beautiful glow yet. This Indianapolis photographer is one happy camper and cannot wait to shoot this family again in the future. 😉
