Earlier this year I put out a nomination call for Indy’s most beautiful mother who would then be photographed for Beauty Revived‘s campaign. As nominations came in, I was connected to Mali, and truly discovered one of Indianapolis’ most beautiful mothers… in more ways than one.

What I’ve learned since, is that if I EVER have a question about Indy culture, history, or events this girl has the answer. And probably a couple of them. Could come in handy if I ever need the scoop as an Indianapolis family photographer. 😉

She’s involved in numerous organizations, movements, and initiatives, is an active participant and volunteer in sooooo many Indy events and groups, and makes sure the involvement reaches her two young girls who are soaking it all in as they journey through this fantastic city.

So Mali and I put a date on the calendar… and then we pushed it back… and back, and back, and back. You see, this family was building their dream-home. Completely customized and in a GORGEOUS location. But these things take time, so I happily obliged.

I met this family at their home (their brand new home!!) the day after closing and was immediately wowed by the beauty of their new abode! Mali has impeccable taste and the perfectly gray walls, gorgeous flooring, and clean-cut kitchen made the perfect backdrop for our little mini-session documenting all that she does for not only our city, but most importantly, her family.

Mali (and family!)… it was my pleasure. Thank you for inviting me into your gorgeous new space to document these moments for you. A new home is always something to celebrate and I know this one will be with you for many, many years to come.
