Remember the adorable family that graced the blog on Valentine’s Day and the cutie-toddler that stole the show? Well, eating sweets and running sugar-high-laps around the house wasn’t the only thing we did during this lifestyle shoot. These next images are some of the sweetest of my time spent with this family. There’s nothing more comforting than story time, wagon rides, and a mini snuggle sesh to wrap up a session.

Cameron has it made. Seriously. Everything from the tiny kitchen table set to the books and train sets in the living room are just catered to him. He obviously is the start of this family show and shows his appreciation in giant kisses, bear hugs, and grins for days. When I first walked into their home, I immediately complimented them on their space. It’s open and inviting… and just perfectly decorated. It took me a while to even notice that there were no breakables on the lower shelves of book cases or that some of the beautifully framed art was actually made by a toddler. The shelves in the living room are filled with books instead of movies and a Thomas the Train set decorates the coffee table. If you didn’t look for these things, and you are taller than 2 feet, you may not even notice these things. They really have achieved a home of perfect balance… one that’s perfect for grown-up dinner parties and toddler birthday parties… all happening simultaneously.

Everything is right at the hands of Cameron, who obviously thinks his parents are the best thing to ever happen to him. He adores them – you can see it in his face and his willingness to share in everything with them. They are his best friends. And these images completely warm my heart in illustrating this fact. <3
