The Union Pavilion at Railside wedding for Jess and Chris made some of my photographer dreams come true. If there’s one thing you need to know about me (and my style of photography) is that I LOVE COLOR. Give me all the bold wedding bouquets (hello bird’s-eye view bouquet shot) and centerpieces and dresses. Give me pretty leaves (I’ll take any season), windy-hair, moody skies…. give me all of it, but give me the all the colorful flowers. Jess had given me an idea of her wedding colors and inspiration photos, but when I saw her bouquet on the table at her mother-in-law’s house my jaw dropped. Biceps and blooms did an AMAZING job, and seeing this bouquet I immediately had flash backs to Emily and Trent’s spring wedding from this year. Except this time, all the candy-colored florals had fall vibes.
Jess and Chris celebrated their wedding day with all of their favorite people, things, and all of the coordinating details to bring it all to life. Both side of this wedding party were a close-knit bunch. Jess and Chris were very intentional with everyone they included in their day and how they included them. The people who surrounded them were just as important to them as the celebration of their marriage and it showed through in everything they did. They had sugar cookies and donuts and cake because why not? Isn’t a wedding about having all of your favorite things!? Chris had two different hand-written vows (the first of which had me rolling in laughter trying to steady my camera to capture the moment), 6 flower girls and 1 flower boy, and a sparkler exit that literally went up in flames (with no one harmed in the process). Jess looked absolutely stunning and I think I set a record with the number of bridal portraits I took of her because I just couldn’t stop and Chris was just beaming all day long.
Jess and Chris, I’ve only known you together as a couple for a short amount of time, but your happiness radiates from you and is catching to those around you. It’s clear to any outsider that you adore one another and there aren’t enough words to truly express how much happiness I wish to you both. Congratulations again and happy holidays as newlyweds!
