Life has been crazy – I’m sure you all can relate. October, specifically, is known to be the ‘crazy’ month for photographers, and while I’m not anywhere close to full-time yet, it’s been just perfectly nutty for me, as well. So as we head into mid-November ((yikes)), I’m just getting caught up on October shoots – just in time for me to head off to Cali this weekend for a couple of shoots and then life should settle down until 2015. Ahhh, lovely.

Ashley contacted me in early October inquiring about a large-family shoot.. three families, lots of grandkids/cousins, some siblings, and kids ranging from just a few months to teenagers. They had similar photos done last fall (on a much-less-nice day, I’ve heard) and wanted to make it a tradition. We settled on a 70-something-degree day at Garfield Park in Indianapolis and the weather and the leaves could NOT have been more perfect.

Also, does this baby not have the most gorgeous head of hair and eyes!!! I know some of you are probably doubting his real-ness and are convinced he’s a doll. And he is, but he’s also real. 😉

While I know we need to get the everybody-looking-and-smiling images, these are the ones that completely steal my heart. <3

And we tried for all the boys, but somebody’s ab muscles are not quite yet strong enough to keep him upright on an incline. 😉 I love it anyways.
