Have I mentioned lately that I’m loving all these summer maternity sessions? Because I am. I know it’s hot and humid, but if there’s ever was a perfect season to wear a flowy dress and let your hair blow in the breeze like the majestic momma’s you all are, summer is it.
Gina and Jay’s Eagle Creek Park maternity session was semi-inspired by one of my all time favorite maternity sessions. The forecast (as has been the case lately) looked nothing but confusing, but having already rescheduled once, we decided to go for it, and our time together turned out to be a dream, even without any sun. If you’re a long-time follower, you know I’m a big fan of windy-haired portraits. It adds movement and emotion and just makes magic happen without having to do so much as turn your head in the right direction. Beyond that, though, we had the place to ourselves because it had rained (hard) not too long before, and we even had some puddles to dance around and play with. The best part about it all, though, is that they were game to dance around in the water at the end of our session – no questions asked.
Gina and Jay, congratulations on your little one to-be and thank you for joining me for an adventurous evening!
