The littlest one of this bunch joined the family during COVID and thus this Marian University family session was his first official photo session. These brothers are more than a decade apart, and it was so sweet to see the family dynamic between Amanda and Cameron and their boys. 2020, while filled with its own challenges, brought a lot to celebrate for this family and I am happy to have been able to document some of it for them.

I know in my last few posts I’ve talked about the wind storm of 2020, but really… it was intense. So when Amanda emailed me some photos of Marian University’s campus and the gorgeous trees that lined the sidewalks, I was shocked that they somehow had managed to survive the whipping winds. This session was a milestone session for Conlan’s 6 month photos, but with Payton being such a great big brother, we took full advantage of every possible grouping and combination as we savored the light. Every once in a while I end up with a milestone session that has as many (okay… more) photos as a full length session and this was one of those times. I mean, when you’re born in 2020 and don’t get a chance to have any newborn photos done, it’s only right. Right?!
