It’s been a few years now since I last photographed this family. In fact, it’s been nearly three years! They’ve since added another boy to their bunch and now have baby #4 on the way. Shani and I went back and forth about whether to wait until their family of six was complete, so when she booked an Ann Arbor family session for this fall, I was extra excited to see their names on my calendar.

I still remember that last session (linked above) where we joked about family sessions with toddlers looking a lot like a photo without a toddler (or a toddler hiding somewhere way off in the background) and this time was no different. Felix arrived with a lot of energy and having a whole park to run and jump and explore (so many rocks and sticks!) was a dream come true for him. It was his turn to adventure, with Cedric following close behind. I’ve been photographing Shani and Greg’s family since Milo was really small and I was blown away to see how much he’s grown up over the past few years – not just in size, but in personality, too! He’s such a good helper to Mom and Dad and a great leader for his brothers. His only hope is that this last baby will be a baby girl to round out their bunch, but no news yet!

To this crew of five (almost six!), thank you for spending the evening with me – running and jumping and singing and clapping included. I always have a great time with you all and am so excited to see your family grow once more!
