I first met these four last year for a fall family session and loved the outcome of their final gallery. You’ve all heard me talk about how much I love when families or couples show up to a session ready to play together, and I have to say, if you don’t end your session with a little dirt somewhere, or wind blown hair, or rosy cheeks, you might now be doing it right. Every session should be filled with shrieks and giggles, hugs and snuggles, running and exploring. Basically, you should be ready to sit down and have a snack when it’s all said and done.

But there’s something else that draws me to this family for the second year in a row and I finally placed my finger on it a few nights ago. Michal and David are awesome parents, it’s easy to see that here, but it’s the way Michal is a mom of boys that tugs at my heart this year. After having a boy of my own just a few months ago, working through their images has me so excited for the years yet to come with my own little.

Of course, I’m a sucker for parent shots, too, and David and Michal make it all too easy on me. David’s wild hands (see here for last year’s result) always have us dying and these shots inevitably end up as my favorite. David, never change a thing and just keep doing this year after year. Other things to look for this this year’s session? Tanner and the blue M&M’s and Connor learning to wink. They’re worth finding in this mix. 😉
